The town centre
Høje-Taastrup town centre and the central parts of the town (referred to as ”Stage 2” and ”Stage 3”) have been designated for a mix of urban functions such as office and service companies, liberal businesses etc. There is currently unused capacity for large units. The area, situated close to Høje-Taastrup Station, is privately owned and locally planned.
Leisure areas
The regional Leisure Area is an approximately 140 hectare undeveloped area designated for a wide range of regional leisure initiatives. The area is part privately owned and part municipally owned. Buildings and facilities for commercial leisure pursuits can be localised here, including hotels, youth hostels, arenas for sporting and music events etc., amusement parks and much more.
The area planning also allows for retailing in the form of outlet shopping goods.
